What is Hospital Indemnity Coverage?

Supplemental coverage that helps offset costs associated with hospital stays, whether for planned or unplanned reasons. Payments made directly to you and benefits do not offset with medical insurance.

Plan Rules:

Eligibility: All full-time employees, spouse, and children up to age 26
Coverage through MetLife
No health questions - Every Year!!
Routine childbirth and complications from pregnancy are covered
If adding a child during the plan year, the child must be added within 30 days of the date of birth
You must be admitted into the hospital for the admission benefit, ER admission and Outpatient treatment does not qualify
