Cancer insurance is a form of supplemental insurance meant to offset cancer-related expenses so you can focus on recovery.
Plan Rules:

All full-time employees working 30+ hours, spouse, and children (up to age 26)

Coverage through Guardian

Payments made directly to you and do no offset with medical insurance

No health questions - Every Year! (Pre-existing condition will apply for new participants)

Keep your coverage even if you retire or change employers

30 day waiting period (initial diagnosis)

Any illness or injury for which you received treatment the 12 months prior to your effective date will not be covered for the first 12 months.

If previously diagnosed with cancer, must be 5 years cancer free
